My friends at blist have built a gorgeous UI using the Flex and Flash. In this post, Kevin talks about why they chose the Adobe platform. I think it was an excellent choice.

Flash is ubiquitous, and Flex has made it easy to build highly data-driven sites on top of it. The Flex framework is still a little bloated, and, like anything, there are some quirks to it, but the next release addresses a lot of those issues.

Add to that the upcoming release of Adobe AIR, which will bring your Flex (or html/javascript/flash) apps to the desktop, with offline support, and I think it’s a real winner.
