Well, maybe not fought, but the magistrate gave me a deferral on a ticket for my accident (my first moving violation ever) and waived a related parking ticket…
Because it is kind of silly to ticket a car just for not having a front license plate when their bumper is thrashed, windshield is broken, and airbags are deployed.
