I love this version. The She & Him album has really impressed me; not only is Zooey’s voice awesome, but I hadn’t realized she wrote most of the songs as well.

Many artists have covered Sam Cooke. Last year I posted Spoon’s version of this song and Sam Cooke’s great nephew commented on the post which was awesome.

So here is M.Ward/Zooey Deschanel. And it’s simply wonderful.
