By the way, in regards to that last post: Yes, I have a new job. (Update: not at Amazon…)
Last week, after letting it slip to a few people that I was on the market, I had about a half-dozen bites. There’s a lot of cool stuff going on, and it was really hard making a decision, but ultimately I found a team and a role that I clicked perfectly with.
The product itself is a bit staid (although in all fairness I’m still getting my head around it), but the passion and expertise of the management team — and the rest of the company for that matter — was overwhelming, and I was instantly over my startup-related doldrums.
I’m very excited.
