AmazonMP3's Daily Deals via Twitter
Just the other day, Brooke & I were discussing using Twitter/Brightkite for “flashmob-style sales” at Velocity Art + Design (e.g. “Get 25% off all dinnerware for the next two hours.”)
Seems like a great idea for pulling in foot traffic, especially during neighborhood events, and once the use of proximity-based services is more prevalent.
If you’re looking for DRM-free music on the cheap, Amazon’s MP3 store maintains a twitter stream for their Daily Deal (older album for ~$2) and Friday Five (5 albums for $5 each).
