R.E.M - What’s the Frequency, Kenneth?
R.E.M. has made a lot of records over the past 20-something years, and while a few are on my all time favorites list, I’ve pretty much hated the rest. When Monster came out, I remember thinking “What the hell is this?”, but it has grown on me recently (14 years later!), and reminds me a lot of their latest record, saying “We’re not just pop and mope, we’re a rock band!”
