"Mr. Boh represented the blue-collar town, and that’s one thing I am, a person who works two jobs, raises a good family and tries to make it, especially with gas prices the way they are."
If Boh were a real guy, “I would sit and drink a beer with him,” says Ben Donovan, a Baltimore City firefighter and avid collector of Natty Boh memorabilia
Well, it’s a nice sentiment at least.
Baltimore natives love to take pride in drinking Natty Boh. There’s nothing better than an icy cold Boh on a hot and humid summer’s day. But don’t be mistaken, this is not a good beer, it’s just the city’s Schaefer, Hamm’s, Blatz, or Olympia.
I remember the first time I had a Rainier when I moved to Seattle. Compared to my beloved Natty Boh, I thought it must be one of the famous NW microbrews!
Ironically, just like all of the other regional brews, Boh is no longer made in Baltimore, it’s just another label printed by Pabsts or whichever mega-brewery currently owns the brand.
Still, I’ll probably pickup a six-pack next time I’m in town…
