We went and saw Willie play at Marymoor Park tonight, and boy was he good. At 75, it may have taken him a little longer to get warmed up, but once he did, he was full of energy, blazing through a jam-packed setlist and picking his guitar, singing, and entertaining with the style and voice that is so distinctively Willie.
This recording is from a concert in 1978, but 30 years later, he’s still got it.
