suitep:

The ‘best freaking coffee in Seattle’.
I’m serious.

I’m on the fence about this one. Vivace used to be far and away the best coffee in town, and I loved going to the stand up on Broadway, but the competition has risen over the past couple of years. Also in the running for best cup: Victrola, Vita, Zoka, and perhaps even Stumptown.
The great thing about Seattle though is that there are so many other excellent neighborhood coffee shops that are way better than the best in most cities. I’m thinking Bauhaus, Zeitgeist, Umbria, the Top Pots, Motore, Tougo, Verite, and the list goes on….
As for the picture, the latte art is definitely most consistently stylish at Vivace, but I can’t be won over… Besides the occasional soy latte, I’m strictly an americano drinker, no cream, no sugar, just delicious coffeeness. - Daryn Nakhuda
