Starbucks VIA Instant Coffee
I never thought I’d say it, but the new Starbucks micro-ground instant coffee really isn’t that bad. I’d even go as far as to say it is by far the best instant coffee I’ve ever tasted.
Sure, it’s not the estate-farmed, shade-grown, massaged-in-sake, and pooped by rodents specialty roast from your local coffeeshop, but it is smooth, dark, and actually tastes like coffee. I wouldn’t choose it over any reasonable offering, but it is better than what you’ll find in most airplanes, trains, or gas stations, and would be a handy thing to keep in your pocket for when you need a quick-fix. It really isn’t that far off from the drip coffee you’d get at a Starbucks.
I bet it’d also be good sprinked in your brownie or chocolate cake batter.
