With interest rates at tantalizing lows over the past few months, we had been considering refinancing our house, but I was dreading the experience: the sea of paperwork, the countless options and permutations, and an overall lack of visibilty and understanding of the process. Fortunately, I asked my friend Rob (who works at Redfin) for some advice, and got an introduction that made this one of the smoothest and easiest transactions I’ve ever completed.
