Look out Seattle: there’s a new pickle in town.
I first heard about Rick’s Picks from Fred a year or two back, and have gone through several delicious jars of Phat Beets, Mean Beans, and Smokra since then.
The one thing I dislike about Rick’s is have to ship them across the country from NYC. Fortunately, I no longer have to worry about that, as they are now available at the Seattle Whole Foods, conveniently located across the street from TeachStreet World HQ.
Give them a try. Not only are they great snacks, but a spear and a splash of smokra juice makes for a damm good bloody mary.
The verdict, however, is still out on the beet martini…
