Last CSA box of the season (from Boistfort Valley Farm)
Corn, leeks, carrots, acorn squash, purple cabbage, orange Kabocha squash, buttercup squash, yellow cipollini onions, spinach,red onions, brussels sprouts, and some dried flowers
Maybe it was the weather, but this year’s CSA was very greens-heavy, and we had a hard time getting through each box. As much as I enjoy the surprise, and being forced to cook with new things, I think next year we’ll just commit to spending the same budget at the farmers’ market each week.
